Isla de Margarita, off Venezuela

-Conference at a farm outside of Bucaramanga Colombia. Everyone is suuuuper friendly, and the meetings were held outside under that roof... in the evenings everbody swam.

On Monday we left for 48 hours of travel, first a bus to Cucuta, Colombia (on the border) where we had to leave the 3 Peruvians we had with us... 2 of them will be catching up with us soon, but they didn´t know that they needed visas to come in. From there we took a bus across the border into Venezuela. We arrived in the terminal 40 minutes after the last bus was supposed to leave to Puerto la Cruz Venezuela, but we ended up getting on it anyway.......a double decker :) for 20 hrs. We got to Puerto La Cruz boat terminal 30 minutes after the ferry left for the island...so we hung out till 2 am to catch the next one. This is Jack hanging out at the end of the wharf while waiting for the 2 am ferry.

Sooooo we got to the Isla at around 7.30 am this am after traveling for 2 days..... everyone is really nice here too and we all went and hung out in the Carribbean Sea all day and got broasted. Here is Dana enjoying herself.
So, we are having fun and doing well!!! And I will be adding some contributing editors, hopefully they will add something later. Em

We do hope you soaked up enough sunshine on the Carribean beach to help you greet the cold of the South. We appreciate your blogging.
